B2Evolution has a Rich Text Editor for a long time. That;s the http://manual.b2evolution.net/Plugins/tinymce_plugin made by Blueyed. This is a really beautiful plugin, underestimated by many. It is fully customisable and even skinnable. The plugin is made for B2evolution, but the underlying javaScript is used for all kinds of projects. TinyMCE is not the only contestant in the Rich Text Editor market. A full blown editor is the KFC and for some time now there is the Yahoo! RTE from the YUI Library.
This plugin aims to make this editor available for B2evolution. This first draft makes an editor in the comment section and an editor in the write section of the Dashboard. The latter is the full editor, for the comments there is the simple editor. Her is a snaphot of that one:

Hi Tosca,I made a few changes and put the link back up. The problem is that the full editor -I planned it for the Admin Write/Edit posts- is very slow and hardly useable. The SimpleEditor (you see it here in the Comment section) is pretty good. So now there is a selection option in the Plugin's settings.

If you want a real editor in the Dashboard, go for the TinyMCE or the FCKEditor plugin. Both can be found in the evocms-plugins repository

H Ben,Check this forumpost. I found out that the FCKeditor also works with B2evolution version 2.4.x.
The Yahoo! editor does work, but I don't like the full blown editor in the Dashboard because it's slow responding to actions. Check out with the pugin for yourself, though.
There is no problem with posts generated from TinyMCE in another editor.
Effects in this comment are generated with the Yahoo editor. I needed to add <span> and <a> as tags to $comment_allowed_tags in /conf/_formatting.php, but that was easy.
