Math Paper by xkcd
This is getting more interesting than I thought at the time I wrote the previous post. In february Microsoft did an automatic upgrade on all XP machines where Internet Explorer 6 is replaced by Internet Explorer 7. This would mean, on paper at least, that there will be hardly any Internet Explorer 6 users left. Is this the case? How soon will we see the marketshare of Internet Explorer 6 drop favoring Internet Explore 7?
I have some new data. This is from another counter at http://www.thecounter.com/stats/2008/February/browser.php You cannot compare this data with the data in the previous post, but I will keep this updated, so we will see the shift.

W3counter is not an official organsation, although the name suggests it is. Their way of measuring is interesting also. Perhaps I'll write a post once why they are wrong. Statistics are a lovely topic to pick on.
I write this now to compare how this changes in half a year or so. If you are interested, do try to predict in the comments.
