This is getting more interesting than I thought at the time I wrote the previous post. In february Microsoft did an automatic upgrade on all XP machines where Internet Explorer 6 is replaced by Internet Explorer 7. This would mean, on paper at least, that there will be hardly any Internet Explorer 6 users left. Is this the case? How soon will we see the marketshare of Internet Explorer 6 drop favoring Internet Explore 7?
I have some new data. This is from another counter at http://www.thecounter.com/stats/2008/February/browser.php You cannot compare this data with the data in the previous post, but I will keep this updated, so we will see the shift.
